34 killed, wounded in Bangladesh 300 collisions

At least 34 people were killed and more than 300 others, including scores of police officers, were injured in Bangladesh on Thursday, a wave of violence as Islamists angrily responded to a decision that one of their leaders for war crimes during the conflict in 1971 independence should hang. At least 23 of them were shot dead in clashes between police and protesters which broke out after Delwar Hossain Sayedee, war crimes, including rape, murder and arson was found guilty. Death toll from Thursday was compiled after the conversation with the police in the 15 districts where protests turned deadly.
