The Syrian opposition DOHA opened the first Embassy in Qatar on Wednesday, a day after the Syrian National Coalition (vof) got from Damascus seat in the Arab League.
Minister of State for Foreign Affairs HE Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed al-Attiyah presided over the function, such as the Syrian opposition flag was hoisted on the Embassy.
SNC leader Ahmed Moaz al Khatib, Ghassan Hitto Interim Prime Minister, heads of diplomatic missions were also present on the occasion.
Approach to mediapersons, Khatib thanked the Emir his Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al Thani and the people of Qatar for the support of the Syrian revolution.
