DOHA the Doha municipality has completed 95 percent of the maintenance work on internal roads, in the 17 areas by the municipality at a cost of QR13 million. The project involved maintenance of all traffic signals and signs, light poles and layout of internal streets.
The road maintenance and public parking section at the municipality carried out three different projects to renovate 300,000 square feet away.
These projects included recovery of asphalt, installation of locking and bumps, in addition to maintenance of street light poles, all traffic signals and signs, as well as their cleaning. The Ministry of the municipality and town and country planning has developed a strategy to improve maintenance work so that internal roads operational in all regions of the country. (TNN)
