Safety expo held for children in Al Khor

DOHA the community police section at North Safety Department (NSD) organized a two-day security exhibition in Al Khor Sports Club recently for school children in the area. The exhibition attracted a large number of school-age children of the area.

At the inauguration ceremony of the event, Capt. Rashid Mubarak al Khayareen by NSD introduced and explained by the concept of community policing. Subsequently, a musical show presented by the Police Training Institute band followed by a dog show arranged by the criminal evidence and information Department (.CEID).

NSD Director Brig. Ali al Nuaimi stressed the importance of security exhibition for students, such as the long-term impact on their impressionable minds would leave about safety. He added, "Community policing has succeeded in forging partnership with individuals and civil institutions as it is four years of service completed." For its part, said head of community policing section at the NSD Colonel Ahmed Zayed Mohanadi that community policing section has held this exhibition for the fourth year in a row because of the effect and the cumulative experience gained by young people in relation to security. "It's part of education in the first place," he noted.

Consciousness lectures were also held as part of the exhibition.

Lieutenant Abdul Wahid al Anzi by traffic Department gave a lecture on traffic safety lecture emphasizes the role of information and education in reducing road accidents.
